Use: Medicinal

Properties: Sweet and acrid; warm.

Actions and indications: Warms the center and fortifies the stomach; disperses swelling and relieves pain. Treats distension of the stomach; acid swallowing; cold and pain in the stomach; vomiting of blood (blood ejection); injury from knocks and falls; bone fractures.

Dosage and method: Oral: Decoct (3–6g) or grind to a powder. Topical: Apply crushed.
