Use: Medicinal

Properties: Bitter; cool.

Actions and indications: Cools the blood and resolves toxin. Treats vomiting of blood (blood ejection); expectoration of blood; intestinal wind bleeding; flooding; hemorrhage due to surgery; child fright wind; heat toxin sores; snake bites.

Dosage and method: Oral: Decoct (6–12g dried, 30–60g fresh). Topical: Apply crushed; decoct as a mouthwash.
