Actions and indications: Enriches yīn and nourishes the blood; engenders liquid and alleviates thirst; eliminates vexation. Treats damage to liquid in febrile disease; weakness after illness; night sweating; chronic gastritis; hypochlorhydria (insufficiency of stomach acid); poor appetite; seminal emission; weak aching lumbus; hemorrhoids.

Dosage and method: Oral: Decoct (6–9g).
