Damage to liquid
伤津 〔傷津〕shāng jīn
A disease pattern resulting from major depletion of fluids following high fever, excessive sweating in externally contracted febrile disease or from severe vomiting and diarrhea. Signs include thirst with desire to drink, dry throat, lips, tongue, nose, and skin, and a dry red tongue.
Medicinal therapy: Clear heat and moisten dryness; engender liquid and increase humor.
