Two Parts Cinnamon Twig and One Part Spleen-Effusing Decoction

Ingredients
- Guì zhī (桂枝 Cinnamomi Ramulus, cinnamon twig) 9g
- Xiān máo (仙茅 Curculiginis Rhizoma, curculigo [root]) 6g
- Má huáng (麻黄 Ephedrae Herba, ephedra) 9g
- Gān cǎo (甘草 Glycyrrhizae Radix, licorice [root]) (mix-fried) 6g
- Shēng jiāng (生姜 Zingiberis Rhizoma Recens, fresh ginger) 9g
- Shí gāo (石膏 Gypsum Fibrosum, gypsum) 9g
- Dà zǎo (大枣 Jujubae Fructus, jujube) 4 pieces
Actions: Clears interior heat and effuses the exterior.
Indications: Persistent exterior disease with mild interior heat, characterized by heat effusion and aversion to wind, thirst, slight heart vexation, and a forceful large floating pulse.
Method: Decoct with water.
