Source: Yī Fāng Jí Jié 医方集解

Ingredients:

• Shú dì huáng (熟地黄 Rehmanniae Radix Praeparata, cooked rehmannia [root])
• Shān yào (山药 Dioscoreae Rhizoma, dioscorea [root])
• Shān zhū yú (山茱萸 Corni Fructus, cornus [fruit])
• Zé xiè (泽泻 Alismatis Rhizoma, alisma [tuber])
• Fú líng (茯苓 Poria , poria)
• Dān pí (丹皮 Moutan Cortex, moutan [bark])
• Fù zǐ (附子 Aconiti Radix Lateralis Praeparata, aconite [accessory root])
• Ròu guì (肉桂 Cinnamomi Cortex, cinnamon bark)

Action: Warms and supplements kidney yáng.

Indication: As for kidney qì pill, but particularly good for debilitation of the life gate fire with vacuity fire floating upward, for failure of the kidney to absorb qì, causing rapid panting, and for lower burner vacuity cold.
