Ingredients

• Xīn yí (辛夷 Magnoliae Flos, magnolia flower¹) 6–9g
• Xì xīn (细辛 Asari Rhizoma et Radix, asarum) 3–6g
• Gǎo běn (藁本 Ligustici Rhizoma, Chinese lovage [root]) 6–9g
• Fáng fēng (防风 Saposhnikoviae Radix, saposhnikovia) 6–9g
• Bái zhǐ (白芷 Angelicae Dahuricae Radix, Dahurian angelica) 6–9g.
• Chuān xiōng (川芎 Chuanxiong Rhizoma, chuanxiong [rhizome]) 6–9g
• Shēng má (升麻 Cimicifugae Rhizoma, cimicifuga [root]) 6–9g
• Mù tōng (木通 Akebiae Trifoliatae Caulis, trifoliate akebia) 6–9g
• Gān cǎo (甘草 Glycyrrhizae Radix, licorice [root]) 3–6g

Actions: Dispels wind-cold and decongests the nose.

Indications: Nasal congestion, runny nose, loss of smell, and respiratory difficulty. Tongue fur: White. Pulse: Floating and tight.

Notes: Some formulas by the same name also include Qiāng huó or Cāng ěr zǐ.
