Source: Tōng Sú Shāng Hán Lùn 通俗伤寒论

Ingredients

• Hú huáng lián (胡黄连 Picrorhizae Rhizoma, picrorhiza [root]) 3g
• Wū méi (乌梅 Mume Fructus, mume [fruit]) 30g
• Huáng bǎi (黄柏 Phellodendri Cortex, phellodendron [bark]) 3g
• Huā jiāo (花椒 Zanthoxyli Pericarpium, zanthoxylum [husk]) (stir-fried) 9g
• Léi wán (雷丸 Omphalia , omphalia) 9g
• Dà fù pí (大腹皮 Arecae Pericarpium, areca husk) 12g

Actions: Clears heat and quiets roundworm.

Indications: Worm accumulations with abdominal pain, vomiting of roundworm, red facial complexion, heart vexation, dry mouth, and heat effusion. Tongue: Red. Pulse: Rapid.
