Ingredients

• Hēi chǒu (黑丑 Pharbitidis Semen Atrum, black morning glory [seed]) 40g
• Xiǎo huí xiāng (小茴香 Foeniculi Fructus, fennel [fruit]) (stir-fried) 10g
• Mù xiāng (木香 Aucklandiae Radix, costusroot) 10g

Actions: Disperses cold and moves water.

Indications: Cold-damp water mounting with swelling and distension of the scrotum, and inhibited urination and defecation.

Method: Yǔ, the reputed founder of the Xià Dynasty (21st–16th century B.C.), is famed for controlling the waters. This formula is so called because it claims to match Yǔ's achievement.
