Ingredients:

• Bīng láng (槟榔 Arecae Semen, areca [nut]) 150g
• Dà huáng (大黄 Rhei Radix et Rhizoma, rhubarb) 240g
• Hēi chǒu (黑丑 Pharbitidis Semen Atrum, black morning glory [seed]) 120g
• 皂角 60g
• Kǔ liàn gēn pí (苦楝根皮 Meliae Radicis Cortex, chinaberry root bark) 150g
• Chén xiāng (沉香 Aquilariae Lignum Resinatum, aquilaria [wood]) 30g
• Mù xiāng (木香 Aucklandiae Radix, costusroot) 30g
• Léi wán (雷丸 Omphalia , omphalia) 30g

Action: Attacks accumulations and kills worms.

Indication: Worm accumulation causing internal obstruction with signs such as abdominal pain exacerbated by pressure, and constipation.

Category:

Method: Grind areca nut, rhubarb, and morning glory seed to a powder and form into pills with a strained, reduced decoction of gleditsia and chinaberry root bark. Grind last three agents to make pill coating.

Dosage: 9g at a time with sugar.
