Myriad Applications Pill
万应丸 〔萬應丸〕 wàn yìng wán

Ingredients
- Dà fù pí (大腹皮 Arecae Pericarpium, areca husk) 150g
- Dà huáng (大黄 Rhei Radix et Rhizoma, rhubarb) 240g
- Hēi chǒu (黑丑 Pharbitidis Semen Atrum, black morning glory [seed]) 120g
- Zào jiá (皂荚 Gleditsiae Fructus, gleditsia [fruit]) 60g
- Kǔ liàn gēn pí (苦楝根皮 Meliae Radicis Cortex, chinaberry root bark) 150g
- Chén xiāng (沉香 Aquilariae Lignum Resinatum, aquilaria [wood]) 30g
- Mù xiāng (木香 Aucklandiae Radix, costusroot) 30g
- Léi wán (雷丸 Omphalia , omphalia) 30g
Actions: Attacks accumulations and kills worms.
Indications: Worm accumulation causing internal obstruction with signs such as abdominal pain exacerbated by pressure, and constipation.
Method: Grind areca nut, rhubarb, and morning glory seed to a powder and form into pills with a strained, reduced decoction of gleditsia and chinaberry root bark. Grind last three agents to make pill coating.
Dosage: 9g at a time with sugar.
