Sparganium Pill
三棱丸 〔三稜丸〕 sān léng wán

Ingredients
- Sān léng (三棱 Sparganii Rhizoma, sparganium [root]) (stir-fried with vinegar) 10g
- Chuān xiōng (川芎 Chuanxiong Rhizoma, chuanxiong [rhizome]) 10g
- Huái niú xī (怀牛膝 Achyranthis Bidentatae Radix, achyranthes [root]) 10g
- Yán hú suǒ (延胡索 Corydalis Rhizoma, corydalis [rhizome]) 10g
- É zhú (莪朮 Curcumae Rhizoma, curcuma rhizome) (stir-fried with vinegar) 10g
- Mǔ dān pí (牡丹皮 Moutan Cortex, moutan [bark]) 10g
- Yuán huā (芫花 Genkwa Flos, genkwa [flower]) (stir-fried with vinegar) 10g
- Bái zhǐ (白芷 Angelicae Dahuricae Radix, Dahurian angelica) 10g
- Dāng guī (当归 Angelicae Sinensis Radix, Chinese angelica) 10g
- Dì lóng (地龙 Pheretima , earthworm) (steeped in wine and stir-fried) 10g
- Gān jiāng (干姜 Zingiberis Rhizoma, dried ginger) (blast-fried) 10g
- Dà huáng (大黄 Rhei Radix et Rhizoma, rhubarb) 20g
Indications: Qì pain, vaginal discharge, and blood conglomerations in women.
Method: Grind rhubarb into a fine powder, and cook with vinegar to form a paste. Grind other agents and blend with rhubarb paste, and form into 300 mg pills.
Dosage: 20 pills on an empty stomach.
