Ingredients:

• Huáng bǎi (黄柏 Phellodendri Cortex, phellodendron [bark]) 240g
• Cāng zhú (苍朮 Atractylodis Rhizoma, atractylodes [rhizome]) 120g
• Niú xī (牛膝 Achyranthis Bidentatae Radix, achyranthes [root]) 120g

Action:

Indication: Same as for ermiaosan, but also supplements the liver and kidney, and, containing achyranthes, ensures that the effect of the agents reaches the lower body.

Category:

Method: Grind to a fine powder and blend with flower, boil to a paste, and form into pills the size of firmiana seeds.

Dosage: 50–70 pills take with brine or a decoction of ginger on an empty stomach.
