Ingredients:

• Yín huā (银花 Lonicerae Flos, lonicera [flower])
• Lián qiào (连翘 Forsythiae Fructus, forsythia [fruit])
• Niú bàng zǐ (牛蒡子 Arctii Fructus, arctium [seed])
• Bò hé (薄荷 Menthae Herba, mint)
• Jīng jiè (荆芥 Schizonepetae Herba, schizonepeta)
• Fáng fēng (防风 Saposhnikoviae Radix, saposhnikovia)
• Jié gěng (桔梗 Platycodonis Radix, platycodon [root])
• Gān cǎo (甘草 Glycyrrhizae Radix, licorice [root])
• Huáng lián (黄连 Coptidis Rhizoma, coptis [root])
• Huáng qín (黄芩 Scutellariae Radix, scutellaria [root])
• Zhī zǐ (栀子 Gardeniae Fructus, gardenia [fruit])
• Xuán míng fěn (玄明粉 Natrii Sulfas Exsiccatus, refined mirabilite)
• Xuán shēn (玄参 Scrophulariae Radix, scrophularia [root])
• Dà huáng (大黄 Rhei Radix et Rhizoma, rhubarb)

Action: Courses the exterior and resolves toxin; clears heat and disperses swelling.

Indication: Throat welling-abscess (yōng) and throat moth.
