Ingredients

• Xìng rén (杏仁 Armeniacae Semen, apricot kernel)
• Sāng yè (桑叶 Mori Folium, mulberry leaf)
• Mǔ dān pí (牡丹皮 Moutan Cortex, moutan [bark])
• Lián qiào (连翘 Forsythiae Fructus, forsythia [fruit])
• Gān cǎo (甘草 Glycyrrhizae Radix, licorice [root])
• Tiān huā fěn (天花粉 Trichosanthis Radix, trichosanthes root)
• Zhè bèi mǔ (浙贝母 Fritillariae Thunbergii Bulbus, Zhèjiāng fritillaria [bulb])
• Niú bàng zǐ (牛蒡子 Arctii Fructus, arctium [seed])

Indications: Epidemic qì streaming into the qì aspect, giving rise to red sore throat with white speckles, generalized heat effusion and sweating, thirst, dry lips, heart vexation, and a rapid pulse. Also sore dry throat due to autumn dryness.

Method: Decoct with water
