清热固经汤 〔清熱固經湯〕qīng rè gù jīng tāng

Ingredients:
- Shēng dì huáng (生地黄 Rehmanniae Radix Exsiccata seu Recens, dried/fresh rehmannia [root]) 30g
- Dì gǔ pí (地骨皮 Lycii Cortex, lycium bark) 9g
- Huáng qín (黄芩 Scutellariae Radix, scutellaria [root]) 9g

黑栀子 9g - Guī bǎn (龟版 Testudinis Plastrum, tortoise plastron) (mix-fried) 15g
- Mǔ lì (牡蛎 Ostreae Concha, oyster shell) (calcined) 30g
- ē jiāo (阿胶 Asini Corii Colla, ass hide glue) 9g
- Dì yú (地榆 Sanguisorbae Radix, sanguisorba [root]) 9g
- ǒu jié (藕节 Nelumbinis Rhizomatis Nodus, lotus root node) 15g
- Zōng lǘ tàn (棕榈炭 Trachycarpi Petiolus Carbonisatus, charred trachycarpus [petiole]) 9g
- Gān cǎo (甘草 Glycyrrhizae Radix, licorice [root]) 3g
Action:
Indication: Profuse menstruation or flooding and spotting due to frenetic movement of hot blood.
