Ingredients

• Niú huáng (牛黄 Bovis Calculus, bovine bezoar)
• Xī jiǎo (犀角 Rhinocerotis Cornu, rhinoceros horn)
• Yù jīn (郁金 Curcumae Radix, curcuma [root])
• Huáng lián (黄连 Coptidis Rhizoma, coptis [root])
• Huáng qín (黄芩 Scutellariae Radix, scutellaria [root])
• Zhī zǐ (栀子 Gardeniae Fructus, gardenia [fruit])
• Zhū shā gēn (朱砂根 Ardisiae Crenatae Radix, coral ardisia [root])
• Xióng huáng (雄黄 Realgar , realgar)
• Zhēn zhū (珍珠 Margarita , pearl)
• Shè xiāng (麝香 Moschus , musk)
• Bīng piàn (冰片 Borneolum , borneol)
• Shēng dà huáng mò (生大黄末 Rhei Radix et Rhizoma Crudi Pulverati, powdered raw rhubarb)
• Máng xiāo (芒硝 Natrii Sulfas , mirabilite)

Indications: Yáng brightness bowel repletion pattern of constipation and thirst with signs of heat entering the pericardium such as delirious speech and clouded spirit.

Method: Decoct with water.
