Ingredients:

• Huáng lián (黄连 Coptidis Rhizoma, coptis [root]) 24g
• Huáng qín (黄芩 Scutellariae Radix, scutellaria [root]) 75g
• Huáng bǎi (黄柏 Phellodendri Cortex, phellodendron [bark]) 15g
• Zhī zǐ (栀子 Gardeniae Fructus, gardenia [fruit]) 75g
• Niú huáng (牛黄 Bovis Calculus, bovine bezoar) 3g
• Bīng piàn (冰片 Borneolum , borneol) 15g
• Dà huáng (大黄 Rhei Radix et Rhizoma, rhubarb) 120g
• Lián qiào (连翘 Forsythiae Fructus, forsythia [fruit]) 75g
• Shēng shí gāo (生石膏 Gypsum Crudum, crude gypsum) 120g
• Jú huā (菊花 Chrysanthemi Flos, chrysanthemum [flower]) 60g
• Bò hé (薄荷 Menthae Herba, mint) 15g
• Jīng jiè (荆芥 Schizonepetae Herba, schizonepeta) 24g
• Fáng fēng (防风 Saposhnikoviae Radix, saposhnikovia) 24g
• Bái zhǐ (白芷 Angelicae Dahuricae Radix, Dahurian angelica) 24g
• Chuān xiōng (川芎 Chuanxiong Rhizoma, chuanxiong [rhizome]) 24g
• Chì sháo (赤芍 Paeoniae Radix Rubra, red peony [root]) 24g
• Dāng guī (当归 Angelicae Sinensis Radix, Chinese angelica) 75g
• Lián zǐ xīn (莲子心 Nelumbinis Plumula, lotus plumule) 60g
• Xióng huáng (雄黄 Realgar , realgar) 24g
• Jié gěng (桔梗 Platycodonis Radix, platycodon [root]) 24g
• Gān cǎo (甘草 Glycyrrhizae Radix, licorice [root]) 15g

Action: Courses wind and clears heat; drains fire and resolves toxin.

Indication: Wind-heat evil fire causing headache, red eyes, painful swollen throat, mouth and tongue sores, painful swelling of the gums, and sometimes constipation.
