Ingredients

• Shú dì huáng (熟地黄 Rehmanniae Radix Praeparata, cooked rehmannia [root]) 120g
• Shēng dì huáng (生地黄 Rehmanniae Radix Exsiccata seu Recens, dried/fresh rehmannia [root]) 60g
• Shān zhū yú (山茱萸 Corni Fructus, cornus [fruit]) 60g
• Shān yào (山药 Dioscoreae Rhizoma, dioscorea [root]) 60g
• Zé xiè (泽泻 Alismatis Rhizoma, alisma [tuber]) 60g
• Mǔ dān pí (牡丹皮 Moutan Cortex, moutan [bark]) 60g
• Fú shén (茯神 Poria cum Pini Radice , root poria) 60g
• Chái hú (柴胡 Bupleuri Radix, bupleurum [root]) 60g
• Dāng guī (当归 Angelicae Sinensis Radix, Chinese angelica) 60g
• Wǔ wèi zǐ (五味子 Schisandrae Fructus, schisandra [berry]) 60g

Actions: Nourishes the liver and enriches the kidney; brightens the eyes.

Indications: Liver-kidney vacuity and insufficiency of yīn-blood with blurred vision, night blindness, dry eyes, and tearing.

Method: Grind to a powder and form into pills with honey.

Notes: This is a variant of Liù wèi dì huáng wán (六味地黄丸 Six-Ingredient Rehmannia Pill).
