Ingredients

• Huáng lián (黄连 Coptidis Rhizoma, coptis [root]) 6g
• Wū méi (乌梅 Mume Fructus, mume [fruit]) 9g
• Mài dōng (麦冬 Ophiopogonis Radix, ophiopogon [root]) 15g
• Shēng dì huáng (生地黄 Rehmanniae Radix Exsiccata seu Recens, dried/fresh rehmannia [root]) 15g
• Ē jiāo (阿胶 Asini Corii Colla, ass hide glue) 9g

Indications: Summer epidemics characterized by high fever, vexation and agitation, thirst with intake of fluid, and in severe cases clouded spirit and delirious speech, and arched-back rigidity.see jianming 526

Method: Decoct with water.
