Ingredients

Actions: Warms the center and fortifies the spleen; dries damp-heat with bitter agents.

Indications: Spleen-stomach vacuity cold with damp-heat, presenting with signs such as abdominal pain and diarrhea, or acid vomiting, bitter taste in the mouth. Tongue fur: Yellow.

Method: Decoct with water.

Notes: This is Lǐ zhōng wán (理中丸 Center-Rectifying Pill) with the addition of Huáng lián.
