Ingredients:

• Shā shēn (沙参 Adenophorae seu Glehniae Radix, adenophora/glehnia [root]) 9g
• Mài dōng (麦冬 Ophiopogonis Radix, ophiopogon [root]) 9g
• Shēng dì huáng (生地黄 Rehmanniae Radix Exsiccata seu Recens, dried/fresh rehmannia [root]) 9g
• Wǔ wèi zǐ (五味子 Schisandrae Fructus, schisandra [berry]) 3g
• Mǔ dān pí (牡丹皮 Moutan Cortex, moutan [bark]) 6g

Action: Clears blood-aspect heat and engenders liquid.

Indication: Greater yīn disease with brewing summerheat in the blood aspect and exterior vacuity manifesting as thirst, and profuse sweating. Tongue: Crimson.
