Damp cholera
湿霍乱 〔濕霍亂〕shī huò luàn
1. Cholera. The principal feature of cholera is simultaneous vomiting and diarrhea. However, desire to vomit without vomiting and desire to defecate without diarrhea constitutes dry cholera; hence the term damp cholera serves the purpose of differentiation. See cholera.
