Diarrhea occurring after delivery owing to nonmovement of the lochia affecting spleen function. Postpartum diarrhea takes the form of incontinent throughflux diarrhea with green-blue, black, and white stool.

Medicinal therapy: Use Truly Wondrous Powder (的奇散 dì qí sǎn), comprising four or five awns of schizonepeta (Schizonepetae Herba, 荆芥 jīng jiè), burned to cinders in an oil lamp mixed with a pinch of musk (Moschus, 麝香 shè xiāng) taken with hot water.
