Minor chest bind

小结胸 〔小結胸〕xiǎo jié xiōng

From On Cold Damage (伤寒论 shāng hán lùn, biàn tài yáng bìng mài zhèng bìng zhì). A pattern of distension and oppression in the stomach duct with pain when pressure is applied, and a slippery floating pulse.

Medicinal therapy: Loosen the chest, disperse phlegm, open binds, and drain heat with Minor Chest Bind Decoction (小陷胸汤 xiǎo xiàn xiōng tāng).

Acumoxatherapy: Select PC-5 (Intermediary Courier, 间使 jiān shǐ), CV-12 (Center Stomach Duct, 中脘 zhōng wǎn), ST-36 (Leg Three Lǐ, 足三里 zú sān lǐ), ST-37 (Upper Great Hollow, 上巨虚 shàng jù xū), and ST-43 (Sunken Valley, 陷谷 xiàn gǔ); needle with drainage.
