Liver heat spontaneous sweating
肝热自汗 〔肝熱自汗〕 gān rè zì hàn
Spontaneous sweating attributable to liver heat, often accompanied by a bitter taste in the mouth and profuse sleeping.
Medicinal therapy: Clear the liver and constrain sweat using
Acumoxatherapy: Base treatment mainly on LR, GB, LI, HT, and ST. Select LI-4 (Union Valley, 合谷 hé gǔ), KI-7 (Recover Flow, 复溜 fù liū), SI-3 (Back Ravine, 后溪 hòu xī), BL-18 (Liver Transport, 肝俞 gān shù), LR-3 (Supreme Surge, 太冲 tài chōng), LR-2 (Moving Between, 行间 xíng jiān), GB-34 (Yáng Mound Spring, 阳陵泉 yáng líng quán), and SP-6 (Three Yīn Intersection, 三阴交 sān yīn jiāo); needle with drainage.
