The hand lesser yáng (shào yáng) triple burner channel and foot lesser yáng (shào yáng) gallbladder channel. Lesser implies the waning of yáng. The lesser yáng (shào yáng) is between the greater yáng (tài yáng) and yáng brightness (yáng míng); hence it is said that the lesser yáng (shào yáng) is the pivot. The lesser yáng (shào yáng) has copious qì and scant blood.
