Freeing menstruation
通经 〔通經〕 tōng jīng
Also promoting menstruation. A method of treatment used to restore normal menstruation in the treatment of amenorrhea. Distinction is made between vacuity and repletion forms of amenorrhea.
Patterns
Qì-blood vacuity (气血虚 qì xuè xū) patterns are marked by amenorrhea, dizzy head and flowery vision, tinnitus, heart palpitation, shortness of breath and lack of strength, pale tongue without fur, and a fine sunken pulse.
