Actions and indications: Clears heat and resolves toxin; quickens the blood and disperses swelling. Treats wind-heat common cold; painful swollen throat; cough; vomiting of blood (blood ejection); hypertension; facial paralysis; blood stasis due to injury from knocks and falls.

Dosage and method: Oral: Decoct (3–9g).
