Origin in unofficial sources: Trillium tschonoskii Maxim.; Trillium camtschaticum Pall.

Use: Medicinal

Properties: Sweet and acrid; warm.

Actions and indications: Dispels wind, soothes the liver, quickens the blood, and stanches bleeding. Treats hypertension; dizziness and headache; injury from knocks and falls; bone fractures; pain in the lumbar and thigh; bleeding from external injury.

Dosage and method: Oral: Decoct (6–9g) or grind to a powder and take infused (3g). grind and sprinkle on the affected area.
