Treats jaundice; dysentery; water swelling; wind-damp impediment (fēng shī bì) pain; cough and vomiting of blood (blood ejection); throat welling-abscesses (yōng); hemorrhoids and fistulas; knife wounds; scalds.

Production area: Grows wild in Guǎngxī, Guǎngdōng, Fújiàn, Zhèjiāng, ānhuī, and Yúnnán.
