Properties: Sweet and acrid*; warm*; nontoxic*.

Actions and indications: Harmonizes the blood and disperses stasis. Treats vomiting of blood (blood ejection); intestinal wind bleeding; dysentery; flooding; injury from knocks and falls.

Dosage and method: Oral: Decoct (15–30g). Topical: Decoct as a wash.
