Properties: Sweet; warm.

Channel entry: Lung, kidney, and heart channels.

Actions and indications: Warms the liver and kidney; quiets the heart spirit; disinhibits urine. Treats cough and panting due to lung cold; impotence; dispersion-thirst (xiāo kě); disquieted heart spirit; fright palpitation; forgetfulness; inhibited urination; jaundice; stone water; wind-cold-damp impediment (fēng hán shī bì).

Dosage and method: Oral: Decoct (9–15g) or make in pills or powders.
