Properties: Sour and slightly acrid^✽; balanced^✽; nontoxic.^✽

Actions and indications: Clears heat and disinhibits urine; disperses stasis and disperses swellings. Treats nephritis; bloody urine; swollen boils; goose-mouth sores; injury from knocks and falls.

Dosage and method: Oral: Decoct (3–9g). Topical: Steep in wine.
