Properties: Sour and bitter; cool.

Indications:

Clears heat and resolves toxin; stanches bleeding; disinhibits dampness and disperses swelling.

vomiting of blood (blood ejection); nosebleed; blood dysentery; hepatitis; malarial disease; heat strangury; hemorrhoids; eczema; welling-abscesses (yōng) toxin; clove sores (dīng); burns and scalds.

Dosage & Method: Oral: Decoct (15–30g), extract juice by crushing, or use in pills. Topical: Apply crushed.
