Source: Yào Liàn Qǐ Mì 药蔹启秘

Ingredients:

• Má huáng (麻黄 Ephedrae Herba, ephedra)
• Xì xīn (细辛 Asari Rhizoma et Radix, asarum)
• Ròu guì (肉桂 Cinnamomi Cortex, cinnamon bark)
• Yá zào (牙皂 Gleditsiae Fructus Abnormalis, small gleditsia [fruit])
• Shēng bàn xià (生半夏 Pinelliae Rhizoma Crudum, raw pinellia [rhizome])
• Dīng xiāng (丁香 Caryophylli Flos, clove)
• Tiān nán xīng (天南星 Arisaematis Rhizoma, arisaema [root])
• Shè xiāng (麝香 Moschus , musk)
• Bīng piàn (冰片 Borneolum , borneol)

Action: Warms and transforms phlegm-damp; disperses swelling and relieves pain.

Indication: Painful, swollen yīn flat-abscess (yīn jū).
