Source: Shāng Hán Lùn 伤寒论

Ingredients

• Dà huáng (大黄 Rhei Radix et Rhizoma, rhubarb) 10–15g
• Huáng lián (黄连 Coptidis Rhizoma, coptis [root]) 2–3g
• Huáng qín (黄芩 Scutellariae Radix, scutellaria [root]) 6–9g
• Fù zǐ (附子 Aconiti Radix Lateralis Praeparata, aconite [accessory root]) 3–6g

Actions: Clears heat and transforms dampness; warms yáng.

Indications: Damp-heat glomus and fullness, vomiting and diarrhea, yellow tongue fur with yáng vacuity signs such as sweating and cold limbs. Pulse: Sunken and fine.

Method: Decoct with water.
