Ingredients

• Pú gōng yīng (蒲公英 Taraxaci Herba, dandelion) 8g
• Dāng guī (当归 Angelicae Sinensis Radix, Chinese angelica) 6g
• Shān yào (山药 Dioscoreae Rhizoma, dioscorea [root]) 4g
• Xiāng fù (香附 Cyperi Rhizoma, cyperus [rhizome]) 3g
• Mǔ dān pí (牡丹皮 Moutan Cortex, moutan [bark]) 3g

Indications: Insufficiency breast milk.

Dosage: KAMPO SOURCE (THE BOOK IS JAPANESE)

Rationale: Pú gōng yīng promotes lactation, and is the sovereign agent in this formula. Mǔ dān pí nourishes the blood. Shān yào supplements the spleen. Xiāng fù transforms stasis and promotes menstruation. Dāng guī nourishes the blood.
