Seven Agents Downbearing Decoction
七物降下汤 〔七物降下湯〕 qī wù jiàng xià tāng

Ingredients
- Dāng guī (当归 Angelicae Sinensis Radix, Chinese angelica) 3–4g
- Chì sháo (赤芍 Paeoniae Radix Rubra, red peony [root]) 3–4g
- Chuān xiōng (川芎 Chuanxiong Rhizoma, chuanxiong [rhizome]) 3–4g
- Shēng dì huáng (生地黄 Rehmanniae Radix Exsiccata seu Recens, dried/fresh rehmannia [root]) 3–4g
- Gōu téng (钩藤 Uncariae Ramulus cum Uncis, uncaria [stem and thorn]) 3–4g
- Huáng qí (黄芪 Astragali Radix, astragalus [root]) 2–3g
- Huáng bǎi (黄柏 Phellodendri Cortex, phellodendron [bark]) 2g
Indications: General vacuity with tendency to hypertension, counterflow ascent, shoulder pain, and tinnitus.
Method: Decoct with water.
