Pillow Elixir
枕中丹 〔枕中丹〕 zhěn zhōng dān

Ingredients
- Yuǎn zhì (远志 Polygalae Radix, polygala [root])
- Jiǔ jié chāng pú (九节菖蒲 Anemones Altaicae Rhizoma, Altai anemone root)
- Lóng gǔ (龙骨 Mastodi Ossis Fossilia, dragon bone)
- Guī bǎn (龟版 Testudinis Plastrum, tortoise plastron)
- Xióng jī (雄鸡 Gallus Masculinus, rooster)
Actions: Quiets the spirit.
Indications: Insomnia, forgetfulness,disquieted heart spirit, and profuse dreaming.
Notes: This is the same formula as Kǒng shèng zhěn zhōng dān (孔圣枕中丹 Sagacious Confucius' Pillow Elixir) but also contains chicken.
