Source: Xiǎo ér Yào Zhèng Zhí Jué 小儿药证直诀

Ingredients

• Chén pí (陈皮 Citri Reticulatae Pericarpium, tangerine peel) 6g
• Dīng xiāng (丁香 Caryophylli Flos, clove) 1.5g
• Qīng pí (青皮 Citri Reticulatae Pericarpium Viride, unripe tangerine peel) 6g
• Hē zǐ (诃子 Chebulae Fructus, chebule) (blast-fried) 6g
• Gān cǎo (甘草 Glycyrrhizae Radix, licorice [root]) (mix-fried) 3g

Indications: Spleen-stomach vacuity cold with impaired movement and transformation and disrupted upbearing and downbearing, characterized by vomiting and retching, diarrhea, visible abdominal distension at the level of the umbilicus, and emaciation.

Method: Decoct with water.

Notes: Yellow in the formula name refers to the spleen-stomach.
