Ingredients

• Xī jiǎo (犀角 Rhinocerotis Cornu, rhinoceros horn)
• Huáng lián (黄连 Coptidis Rhizoma, coptis [root])
• Shēng má (升麻 Cimicifugae Rhizoma, cimicifuga [root])
• Zhī zǐ (栀子 Gardeniae Fructus, gardenia [fruit])
• Yīn chén (茵陈 Artemisiae Scopariae Herba, virgate wormwood)

Actions: Clears the heart, drains heat, resolves toxin, and abates jaundice.

Indications: Jaundice with high fever, and vexation. Tongue: Red with yellow fur. Pulse: Rapid.
