Ingredients

• Máo zhú (茅朮 Atractylodis Rhizoma Maoshanense%#%, Maoshan atractylodes [root])
• Chuān wū (川乌 Aconiti Radix, aconite main root)
• Cǎo wū (草乌 Aconiti Kusnezoffii Radix, wild aconite [root])
• Dāng guī (当归 Angelicae Sinensis Radix, Chinese angelica)
• Chuān xiōng (川芎 Chuanxiong Rhizoma, chuanxiong [rhizome])
• Quán xiē (全蝎 Scorpio , scorpion)
• Tiān má (天麻 Gastrodiae Rhizoma, gastrodia [root])
• Qiāng huó (羌活 Notopterygii Rhizoma et Radix, notopterygium [root])
• Jīng jiè (荆芥 Schizonepetae Herba, schizonepeta)
• Fáng fēng (防风 Saposhnikoviae Radix, saposhnikovia)
• Má huáng (麻黄 Ephedrae Herba, ephedra)
• Xì xīn (细辛 Asari Rhizoma et Radix, asarum)
• Hé shǒu wū (何首乌 Polygoni Multiflori Radix, flowery knotweed [root])
• Shí hú (石斛 Dendrobii Herba, dendrobium)
• Gān cǎo (甘草 Glycyrrhizae Radix, licorice [root]) (mix-fried)
• Xióng huáng (雄黄 Realgar , realgar)

Actions: Effuses the exterior and disperses cold; disperses swelling; eliminates toxin, wind, and dampness.

Indications: Welling- and flat-abscesses (yōng jū), clove sores, streaming sores, early-stage leprosy, hemiplegia, mounting qì (shàn qì) with the swelling and sagging of one testicle, medial headache or hemilateral headache, and lockjaw.
