Stasis-Freeing Brew
通瘀煎 〔通瘀煎〕 tōng yū jiān

Ingredients
- Hóng huā (红花 Carthami Flos, carthamus [flower]) 9g
- Dāng guī wěi (当归尾 Angelicae Sinensis Radicis Extremitas, Chinese angelica [root] tail) 9g
- Xiāng fù (香附 Cyperi Rhizoma, cyperus [rhizome]) 9g
- Mù xiāng (木香 Aucklandiae Radix, costusroot) 9g
- Wū yào (乌药 Linderae Radix, lindera [root]) 9g
- Qīng pí (青皮 Citri Reticulatae Pericarpium Viride, unripe tangerine peel) 9g
- Shān zhā (山楂 Crataegi Fructus, crataegus [fruit]) 9g
- Zé xiè (泽泻 Alismatis Rhizoma, alisma [tuber]) 9g
Actions: Moves qì and relieves pain; quickens the blood and dispels stasis.
Indications: Qì stagnation and blood accumulation in women, causing inhibited menstrual discharge, abdominal pain exacerbated by pressure, and postpartum blood stasis repletion pain.
