Source: Wèi Shēng Bǎo Jiàn 卫生宝鉴

Ingredients:

• Huáng bǎi (黄柏 Phellodendri Cortex, phellodendron [bark]) 9g
• Shā rén (砂仁 Amomi Fructus, amomum [fruit]) 45g
• Gān cǎo (甘草 Glycyrrhizae Radix, licorice [root]) 21g
• Tiān dōng (天冬 Asparagi Radix, asparagus [root]) 60g
• Shú dì huáng (熟地黄 Rehmanniae Radix Praeparata, cooked rehmannia [root]) 60g
• Rén shēn (人参 Ginseng Radix, ginseng) 30g

Action: Boosts qì and yīn; secures essence and marrow.

Indication: Fatigued essence-spirit, dream emission or seminal emission in patients showing signs of insecurity of qì and yīn and vacuity fire flaming upward.
