Cistanche Pill
肉苁蓉丸 〔肉蓯蓉丸〕 ròu cōng róng wán

Ingredients
- Ròu cōng róng (肉苁蓉 Cistanches Herba, cistanche) (steamed with wine and stone-baked) 15g
- Shú dì huáng (熟地黄 Rehmanniae Radix Praeparata, cooked rehmannia [root]) (boiled in wine and pounded to a paste) 15g
- Shān yào (山药 Dioscoreae Rhizoma, dioscorea [root]) (stir-fried) 15g
- Shí hú (石斛 Dendrobii Herba, dendrobium) 15g
- Huái niú xī (怀牛膝 Achyranthis Bidentatae Radix, achyranthes [root]) (steeped in wine and stone-baked) 15g
- Guān guì (官桂 Cinnamomi Cortex Tubiformis, quilled cinnamon [bark]) 15g
- Dà fù pí (大腹皮 Arecae Pericarpium, areca husk) 15g
- Fù zǐ (附子 Aconiti Radix Lateralis Praeparata, aconite [accessory root]) (!!炮,去皮脐) 30g
- Huáng qí (黄芪 Astragali Radix, astragalus [root]) 30g
- Huáng lián (黄连 Coptidis Rhizoma, coptis [root]) 22.5g
- Xì xīn (细辛 Asari Rhizoma et Radix, asarum) 7.5g
- Gān cǎo (甘草 Glycyrrhizae Radix, licorice [root]) 7.5g
Indications: Cold strangury.
Method: Grind to a fine powder, blend with condensed honey, and form into pills the size of firmiana seeds (wú tóng zǐ).
Dosage: 6g at a time, swallowed salted wine.
