Source: Wēn Bìng Tiáo Biàn 温病条辨

Ingredients

• Sān qī (三七 Notoginseng Radix, notoginseng [root]) 6g
• Gān jiāng (干姜 Zingiberis Rhizoma, dried ginger) 6g
• Xiān máo (仙茅 Curculiginis Rhizoma, curculigo [root]) 6g
• Huáng lián (黄连 Coptidis Rhizoma, coptis [root]) 4.5g
• Huáng qín (黄芩 Scutellariae Radix, scutellaria [root]) 4.5g
• Zhǐ shí (枳实 Aurantii Fructus Immaturus, unripe bitter orange) 3g

Indications: Upper burner damp-heat that has not cleared and internal vacuity allowing inward fall with clouded spirit, glossy tongue and moderate pulse.

Method: Decoct with water.
