Ingredients:

• Qīng pí (青皮 Citri Reticulatae Pericarpium Viride, unripe tangerine peel)
• Hòu pò (厚朴 Magnoliae Officinalis Cortex, officinal magnolia bark)
• Cǎo guǒ (草果 Tsaoko Fructus, tsaoko [fruit])
• Chái hú (柴胡 Bupleuri Radix, bupleurum [root])
• Huáng qín (黄芩 Scutellariae Radix, scutellaria [root])
• Bàn xià (半夏 Pinelliae Rhizoma, pinellia [rhizome])
• Bái zhú (白朮 Atractylodis Macrocephalae Rhizoma, white atractylodes [root])
• Fú líng (茯苓 Poria , poria)
• Gān cǎo (甘草 Glycyrrhizae Radix, licorice [root])
• Dà zǎo (大枣 Jujubae Fructus, jujube)
• Shēng jiāng (生姜 Zingiberis Rhizoma Recens, fresh ginger)

Action: Harmonizes and resolves (shào yáng); transforms dampness and interrupts malaria.

Indication: Phlegm-damp malaria occurring in regular attacks with heat effusion more pronounced than aversion to cold, oppression in the chestvomiting and retching, bitter taste in the mouth, and heart vexation. Tongue fur: Yellow and slimy. Pulse: Slippery and stringlike.
