Scutellaria and Coptis Four Agents Decoction
芩连四物汤 〔芩連四物湯〕 qín lián sì wù tāng

Ingredients
- Huáng qín (黄芩 Scutellariae Radix, scutellaria [root]) 3–6g
- Huáng lián (黄连 Coptidis Rhizoma, coptis [root]) 3–6g
- Chuān xiōng (川芎 Chuanxiong Rhizoma, chuanxiong [rhizome]) 3–6g
- Dāng guī (当归 Angelicae Sinensis Radix, Chinese angelica) 9–12g
- Shēng dì huáng (生地黄 Rehmanniae Radix Exsiccata seu Recens, dried/fresh rehmannia [root]) 9–12g
- Xiān máo (仙茅 Curculiginis Rhizoma, curculigo [root]) 9–12g
Actions: Clears heat and cools the blood.

Method: Decoct with water.
Notes: This is a variant of Sì wù tāng (四物汤 Four Agents Decoction).
