Source: Wàn Bìng Huí Chūn 万病回春

Ingredients

• Dǎng shēn (党参 Codonopsis Radix, codonopsis [root]) 12g
• Bái zhú (白朮 Atractylodis Macrocephalae Rhizoma, white atractylodes [root]) 9g
• Gān jiāng (干姜 Zingiberis Rhizoma, dried ginger) 6g
• Fú líng (茯苓 Poria , poria) 9g
• Huā jiāo (花椒 Zanthoxyli Pericarpium, zanthoxylum [husk]) 6g
• Wū méi (乌梅 Mume Fructus, mume [fruit]) 9g

Actions: Fortifies the spleen and expels worms.

Indications: Roundworm in spleen-stomach vacuity, characterized by abdominal pain, rumbling intestines, thin sloppy stool, long voidings of clear urine, vomiting of roundworm or passing of roundworm in the stool, and lack of warmth in the extremities. Tongue: Pale with glossy fur. Pulse: Vacuous.

Notes: This is a variant of Lǐ zhōng wán (理中丸 Center-Rectifying Pill).
