Sloppy stool

便溏 〔便溏〕biàn táng

Semiliquid stool. It is usually a sign of spleen qì vacuity. The term sloppy stool refers to the consistency of the stool. Strictly speaking, differs from diarrhea by not implying increased frequency of defecation. However, sloppy stool can occur with increased frequency of defecation, and this is called sloppy diarrhea.
